From May 1st to 4th, 2025, the "Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Super Cup Invitational 2025 & Guangzhou E-Sports and Cultural Tourism Carnival" were held at Zhujiang Party Pier in Haizhu District, Guangzhou. Eight top global esports teams participated in the event. The event was held at Zhujiang Party Pier because it was transformed from an industrial park and has outdoor space, which aligns with the event's pursuit of an "awesome" vibe. Chu Tong, the person-in-charge of Moonton Games' esports business in China, said that Guangzhou was chosen because of government support, a large user base, and the event venue, which can offer diverse experiences to the audience. The event also set up stalls featuring traditional Chinese culture to promote Chinese culture.
