据报道，美国总务管理局(GSA)为大部分联邦官僚机构提供行政和技术支持，并管理政府的房地产投资组合。该机构的雇员被指对此次不当分享负责，促使上周发布了一份网络安全事件报告并展开调查。
报道称，记录显示，相关员工无意中与整个GSA员工共享了一个包含敏感文件的文件夹。据悉，该机构员工总计超过11200人。
